Description

Interior of a monastic pharmacy in Tournus, with decorated jars dating from the 17th century and twisted-column shelves. The ceiling is painted from the 17th century, depicting Charity helping the disabled. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated June 1909, addressed to Alexis Bessard in Lyon, with mention of publisher P. Charvet, photo publisher Davayé.
