Description

View of the Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, with its two Gothic towers. The printed text indicates that the southern tower was started in 1170 and completed in 1547, measuring 49 m, while the northern tower, completed in 1547, measures 70 m. On the reverse, a postcard dated 16.10.62, sent from Tours to Mlle Lucette Le Manno in Sarthe, with a 15-centime stamp and a cancellation 'TOURS INDIRECTE'.
