View of the Gouin Hotel in Tours, a Gothic building adorned with sculptures and complex architecture dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. The printed text indicates that it was once inhabited by Jean d'Orléans, Count of Dunois, Controller of Finances under Charles VII. The reverse bears the inscription 'Phototype A. Brueil, Angers'.
