Postcard showing the Gouin Hotel in Tours, a Gothic building erected at the end of the 15th century and renovated in the 16th, which was once inhabited by Jean de Xainctonge, the general controller of finances under Charles VII, and Jean d'Orléans, Count of Dunois. Reverse: 30-centime French Republic postage stamp, postmark from Tours Station dated August 25, 1937, handwritten text addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Faristier in Saint-Just-sur-Loire.
