Description

View of the Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, with its two Gothic towers, the northern tower measuring 70 meters and the southern tower 69 meters. Printed text indicates that the cathedral was begun in 1170 and completed in 1547. Reverse: French 10-centime postage stamp, cancellation mark from Tours-Bâche, handwritten address to Mr. A. Schneider in Paris, and mention of 'Hôtel du Faubourg, rue de la Belle-Jouilla'.
