Description

View of the Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, with an inscription indicating that the southern tower is 69 meters and the northern tower 70 meters, begun in 1170 and completed in 1547. Back: 2 franc and 3 franc stamps, postmark from Tours Station (14/11/1940), address to Madame Belle Calmont in Paris, and handwritten text 'We chat while waiting for Jacqueline's return'.
