View of the apse of the Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, begun in 1170 and completed in 1267. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to 'M. Roger' in Médeuvrières, with a 50-centime stamp and a postmark from Tours dated 21-10-1916.
