Black and white view of the Tower Bridge in London with its raised bascules, allowing passage for a boat. The reverse features printed text explaining that raising the bascules takes two minutes and allows a clearance of approximately 130 feet. A handwritten French inscription is addressed to 'Mlle Élise de Marquèze' in Algiers, with a circular postage stamp dated August 23, 1937.
