Description

Photograph of steam locomotive N° 160 « Huningue », the last of the series 158 to 173 of the Compagnie de l'Est, built by Charbonnier between 1854 and 1855. The reverse details its technical specifications: cylinders, weight, water and coal capacity, and notes that it was retired in 1888 after traveling 1,537,731 km. The photo, taken in Troyes in 1872, is from the A Henry collection and published by Éditions NM « La Vie du Rail » n° 97 in 1952.
