Postcard showing a close-up of the mechanism of a French steam locomotive, Compound model No. 2678, built between 1905 and 1908. The reverse features a letter addressed to René Almand in Marseille, with technical details printed on the left (furnace, tubes, driving wheels, cylinders, pistons) and three obliterated 10-centime green stamps. The address is handwritten in cursive.
