Postcard showing a French steam locomotive, model No. 230-557, from the series 230-551 to 230-570, built in 1906–1907 for express trains. The printed text on the front specifies its technical characteristics: three coupled axles, bogie, compound, four cylinders, and its origin from the Lambert factory. The back indicates the publisher F. Plebury, 43, Avenue de la République, Paris, with handwritten text 'JGH H' and a date '16H H' (probably 16h H).
