Description

Postcard illustrating three types of trains from 1837: a first-class train with mail, a second-class train for external passengers, and a special Anglo-American train from 1904. The reverse indicates that this is a postcard from the additional series of the L.&N.W.R. dated January 1905, with a space reserved for correspondence and a note of limited use to the United Kingdom.
