View of the Hotel des Roches Noires in Trouville, an imposing building with elegant latticed windows and a French flag at the top. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Madame B. Guérinet in Dieppe, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark of 'TROUVILLE 5-1-08'. The handwritten text asks the recipient to make a request to the sender's mother.
