Portrait of a woman in traditional Limousin costume, wearing a white veil and embroidered white collar, with hands placed over her mouth. On the back, handwritten text dated June 1st, 1946, from Simoges, addressed to 'dear friend', with personal correspondence and an address in Paris. Postmark and cancellation visible.
