Illustrated postcard of Caen showing, on the left, a portrait of a soldier in uniform, in the center the Hamelin Barracks and the Defense Monument and General Staff, and at the bottom a steam train. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to M. Dumond in La Baserne, with a note of 'All my thanks' and a postmark 'CAEN 10 JUILLET 1905'.
