Outdoor scene under a bare tree, a man in Oriental attire holding a weapon standing between two seated women, all three dressed in traditional robes. Printed text at the bottom: 'A Slave Trader'. Reverse: blue 30-cent postage stamp, postal cancellation from Nantes (France) dated April 27, 1903, handwritten address to Monsieur Albert Caparé in Versailles, and printed text stating 'Postcard reserved for correspondence (France – Algeria – Tunisia)'.
