Black and white view of the Undercliff Walk in Rottingdean, with imposing cliffs and a path lined with stone walls. A few people are visible on the path and in the water. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Rottingdean on June 14, 1948, with a 2 pence stamp and a Brighton & Hove cancellation. The message is addressed to M.C. and A. Kayser in Paris, and mentions the beauty of the place despite the harshness of the sea.
