Description

Postcard showing a medieval tapestry depicting a religious scene with several figures in period clothing. The printed text at the bottom identifies the work as 'ONE OF THE TAPESTRIES OF SAINT ETIENNE (No. 12)'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 26/5/30, addressed to a cousin, mentions the joy of receiving the postcard and the family in Paris. The postmark and cancellation are partially legible.
