Description

Decorative postcard shaped like a daisy with five vignettes showing scenes of soldiers and civilians. Printed text at the bottom: 'A THOUGHT FOR THE SOLDIER'. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 18 May 1919, sent from Fontenay-le-Comte (Vendée) to Clémence in Blaye (Gironde), mentioning the permission of her son Joseph, who died in combat. Stamp and cancellation visible.
