Black and white view of the fortified caves of Écolises, ancient stone structures nestled in a rocky canyon with sheer walls. The reverse features a handwritten letter in blue ink addressed to Mr. G. Fournier at the « Récitement » in Paris, with partial cancellation and visible water stains.
