Description

View of the Château d'Ussé, located in the valley of the Indre on a steep hillside, with its conical towers and Renaissance architecture. The reverse details its history: built in the 15th century, almost entirely rebuilt in the 16th, expanded in the 17th by a member of the Valentinay family, and equipped with a Renaissance chapel around 1530. The castle is private and not open to the public.
