Postcard showing the ruins of a Roman house in Vaison-la-Romaine, with discovered marble columns and moldings. The reverse has handwritten text indicating 'Du costume la ballade yez' and an address to 'Monsieur Henry Lucas, at Coulouy, Deux-Sèvres'. A 25-centime French Republic postage stamp, canceled in Vaison-la-Romaine on June 28, 1929, with a transit postmark from La Seuva (La Seuva) on June 30, 1929.
