Postcard showing Le Pendentif, a 16th-century funeral monument in Valence, with a stone façade and an arched portal. On the back, a handwritten letter dated May 15, 1945, sent from Valence to Gap, addressed to Mr. Richard, with a 1.50 franc postage stamp and a cancellation mark 'VALENCE 15 V 45'.
