Panoramic view of Place de la République in Valence, showing a large central monument, Haussmann-style buildings, and a steam train at the station. Handwritten text on the front mentions a visit to Givors. Back: red 10-centime postmark, Valence station dispatch postmark (10 October 1908), and arrival postmark at Caravillon (29 October 1908), addressed to Madame Girmihercroz in Caravillon, Vaucluse.
