View of an imposing corner building in Valence, bearing the signs 'Hôtel de la Croix d'Or' and 'Grand Café de Valence'. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 21.03.13, sent from Valence Station to Madame Pierre-Paul in Paris, with a 12-centime postal stamp and a circular cancellation.
