Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Bossons Glacier and the Aiguille du Midi in the Valley of Chamonix. The printed text identifies the subject and the serial number 338. On the reverse, a handwritten letter from H. Cortier to Monsieur Alphonse Feb, publisher of the Hotel du Lion d'Or in Chamonix, announcing his arrival and his intention to climb the Bosson Glacier. Postmark of 10 centimes of the French Republic, canceled in Chamonix.
