Black and white panoramic view of the Valley of Queyras, featuring the Deserted Casse, a rocky mountainous landscape with traces of snow and a few pines. On the reverse, a postcard sent on August 22, with a handwritten letter describing the ascent to the Izoard Pass and the view over the Alps, addressed to Madame and Monsieur Mazouge in Marseille. 20-centime French Republic postage stamp canceled.
