Black and white panoramic view of an alpine landscape with a wooden cross in the foreground, facing snow-capped peaks and a glacier. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 20, 1968, sent from Vallon d'Arolla (Valais) to Saint-Mande (France), with two Helvetia stamps (10 and 20 centimes) and a postmark of « VALAIS ».
