View of the La Chataigneraie Castle in Vals-les-Bains, Ardèche, with its ornate architecture featuring turrets and sculpted details. The reverse side bears a handwritten letter dated February 1918, addressed to Mademoiselle Magdeleine Hozole in Mèze, Hérault, with a 10-centime French postage stamp and a Besançon cancellation.
