View of an intermittent fountain at the center of a wooded park in Vals-les-Bains, framed by a metal fence and surrounded by trees. Printed text at the bottom: 'L'ARDECHE ILLUSTRÉE — VALS-les-BAINS — L'Intermittente'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Mme Datteré in Saint-Omer, with an inscription 'Amitiés d'un beau voyage' by G. Duchaussoy. Green 5c 'République Française' stamp and postmark.
