Description

View of the Trumpet Tower in Vannes, a round stone tower covered in ivy, with a conical roof and battlements, located south of the city's large fortifications. The printed text relates its history: it served as the residence of the city's herald and was the site where, in 1597, Spanish soldiers from the League seized the relics of Saint Vincent Ferrier. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated January 20, 1910, addressed to 'Dear Jean'.
