Description

Black and white view of the entrance to the Porte du Bourrea in Vannes, showing a stone passage with a coat of arms above and a paved street below. The reverse indicates that the gate, opened in 1688, was originally named Porte du Menrez and connects the cathedral to Rue Saint-Jean, in memory of the stay of a canon of Marie at the Collège de Vannes (1808–1819).
