Description

Postcard showing the old Gate of the Executioner in Vannes, with a carved coat of arms above the arch. The printed text relates its history, changing from Porte du Menes to Porte Saint-Jean, in memory of Marie. Back: handwritten address to Madame Mme Quiguer in Houilles (Fleury-Débat), 20 and 10-centime stamps, postmark from Vannes (SG RIV) dated 1908.
