View of the Centenary Monument in Avignon, inaugurated in 1891 to commemorate the centenary of the annexation of the Comtat Venaissin to France, with the city hall tower and classical buildings in the background. The reverse has handwritten text addressed to M. Emile Chomoux in Voïce (Alpes-Maritimes), with a message of congratulations and a mention of the artistic collection.
