Black and white view of a pond surrounded by a forest of bare trees, with an inscription in the top right corner indicating '16. Vélizy - Forest of Médon - Crayfish Pond'. Reverse: postcard sent from Paris on August 12, 1908, with a 3-centime postage stamp and postmark, addressed to Madame Marguerite Giefer in Courbevoie, with handwritten French text.
