View of the ruins of the West Castle in Vendôme, with a cylindrical keep and a smaller tower, dating from the 12th century and expanded in the 11th, 15th, and 16th centuries, almost entirely destroyed in 1793. The reverse bears the publisher 'Levy Fils et Cie, Paris-Venise' and the stamp 'Curte Postule' with a handwritten cancellation '411A'.
