Description

View of the ruins of the castle of Vendôme, dating from the 12th century and expanded in the 14th and 15th centuries, almost entirely destroyed in 1793. Printed text in French and English. Reverse: correspondence dated November 5, 1909, addressed to Mrs. J. Dubouchet in Les Dîlas, Seine, with a 15-centime postage stamp and cancellation 'VENDOME'.
