Black and white view of St. Mark's Square in Venice, showing the basilica and St. Mark's Campanile, with many pigeons on the ground. On the reverse, two Italian stamps (5 and 2 liras) and a postmark from Venice dated May 13, 1957. The address is handwritten for Madame Jean Martin in Gironde, France, with a mention of 'Cadillac' and 'Vera fotografia'.
