View of the entrance to the military cemetery in Verdun, framed by two obelisks bearing the inscriptions 'MILITARY CEMETERY' and 'REMEMBRANCE OF THE FRENCH'. The reverse has handwritten text dated 1930, addressed to Madame Sauvèles in Longwy, with a violet 10-centime stamp and a cancellation mark from Verdun.
