Description

View of the Chevert statue in Verdun, with a group of children in front of the base bearing his name. The printed text at the bottom reads: 'The Statue of Chevert. and the farewell. Flowers are always flowers.' The handwritten writing on the front expresses regret for not being able to go to Pontaut. The back has the recipient's address, Gaston Chibault, and two 5 franc stamps, with a cancellation from Verdun dated May 12, 1901.
