View of the Porte-Chaussée in Verdun, a fortified gate with two round towers, crenellations, and a central archway. On the reverse, a French postcard stamped with 15 centimes, postmarked Neufchâteau (Vosges) on January 21, 1913, with handwritten text addressed to Miss Yvonne Henry in Neufchâteau.
