The printed text recalls that Verneuil was still a hamlet in the 12th century when Henry II, King of England, fortified it. On the reverse, a postcard dated 6-9-24, sent from Clermont-l'Hérault to Madame Chanteur in Montpellier, with a red 10-centime stamp and a Saint-Étienne cancellation.
