Black and white view of a path lined with bare trees leading to a bridge with a railing, with a man in a dark suit standing in the middle. Printed text at the bottom: '24. VERNEUIL — The Promenades'. On the reverse, handwritten address to 'Madame Charles Le chevallier, Deauville (Calvados)' and a postmark from 'VERNEUIL' dated 23 May 1903.
