Interior view of the Galerie des Glaces at Versailles, adorned with columns and ornate ceilings. The printed text recalls that the King of Prussia was proclaimed Emperor of Germany on January 18, 1871, and that the Allies there declared the dissolution of the German Empire by signing the peace treaty on June 28, 1919. The reverse indicates the publisher A. Leconte, printer in Paris, and bears the number 78.
