Interior scene of a brasserie in Versailles in 1909, showing men in suits sitting at tables, with an elegant decor and a large chandelier. The printed text recalls that deputies of the Third Estate met here in 1789. The reverse details the history of the establishment, which was then the café Amaury, and mentions the presence of Mirabeau and Robespierre. A 1909 postal stamp is affixed, with a Versailles cancellation.
