View of the Caserne Hoche in Versailles, rue de Noailles, with several soldiers in uniform in front of the main entrance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 4, 1912, addressed to a soldier of the 22nd Battalion of the Republic, with a 5-centime postage stamp and a cancellation stamp from Tresse.
