View of the Palace of Versailles with its majestic facade and a large basin in the foreground, adorned with an allegorical statue of Neptune holding a scepter and a crown of fruits, accompanied by a small angel. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Monsieur Eugène Retière at the Andrea Costa Hospital in Gif-sur-Yvette, with a handwritten inscription: 'Nice souvenir from me, very cordially, Paris'.
