Description

Interior of the Library of Louis XV at the Palace of Versailles, with a large framed portrait, a chandelier, carved furniture, and a statue. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'My dear Marie' and a green 5c stamp of the French Republic cancelled in 1916.
