Colored view of the Versailles parterres with a large fountain in the center, surrounded by many visitors and flower beds. The printed text indicates the event: 'Les Parterres le jour des Grandes Eaux'. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame Marguerite Kiepe at Courbevoie (Seine), a 1907 French postage stamp, and a Versailles cancellation.
