Interior view of the nave of the Madeleine Church in Vézelay, showing its Romanesque columns and vaults dating from the 11th and 12th centuries. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Miss Denise Pamart in Roye-le-Grand, with a 20-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Charleville-Mézières dated September 19, 1939.
